| There are three levels of conferences involving competitive events for FBLA at the high school level. They are Regional Competitive Events (RCE), the State Leadership Conference (SLC), and the National Leadership Conference (NLC). Most events start at the RCE level, which takes place in January each year. Students who place high enough at the Regional Competitive Events and those participating in events that start at the state level may attend the State Leadership Conference. Students who receive top honors at the SLC are eligible to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference. So, study hard from early on so that you'll do your best on competition day.
For the 2008-2009 school year:
- Regional Competitive Events (RCE) will be held on January 8th, 2009.
- The NJ State Leadership Conference (SLC) will be held
on March 13-14 2009.
- The FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC) is June 25, 2008 to June 28, 2009 in Anaheim, California.
